Share and export
Export
Export video for any platform, GIFs, audio and stems, subtitles, stills, slides and transparent assets. Everything renders on your own computer, with no watermark.
Open a project's … menu at the top right and choose Export. The Export center lists eight destinations on the left; each one shows its own options on the right.

Social platforms
Pick one or more presets and each gets the right shape, size and frame rate:

A film that doesn't match a platform's shape is fitted with bars, never cropped. Every preset except YouTube and YouTube 4K burns in subtitles by default, because most people watch muted; when the film has subtitles, Burn in subtitles changes that (Per platform, All or None). If a film is longer than a platform allows, its preset says so. Quality is Standard, High or Master.
Video file
- Codec: H.264 (plays everywhere), HEVC (about 40% smaller). The Mac app adds ProRes 422 HQ, ProRes 4444, HEVC with alpha, WebM VP9 and PNG sequences.
- Frame: Original, 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 4:3 or 21:9. When the shape differs from the film's, choose Fit with bars or Fill and crop. It starts on the delivery frame you picked in the viewer.
- Resolution: 720p, 1080p, 1440p or 4K (the Mac app adds 480p).
- Frame rate: the source rate, or 24, 25, 30, 50 or 60.
- Quality: Standard, High or Master (not shown for ProRes and PNG sequences).
- Sound: include it or not.
- Subtitles: burn them into the picture, and/or save an SRT or VTT file alongside.
Transparent assets
Choose What to export: the Whole film (with the stage background removed) or any single motion-graphic element on the timeline.
- In the Mac app: ProRes 4444 (After Effects, Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve), HEVC with alpha (Final Cut, Keynote, Safari, iOS apps), WebM VP9 (websites) or a PNG sequence (game engines, 3D, anything). For a single element, pick a size of 0.5×, 1× or 2×.
- In the browser, Open transparent export opens a tab that exports WebM, ProRes 4444, a PNG sequence or MP4 (no transparency).
You can also right-click a motion-graphic clip on the timeline and choose Export this clip.
GIF
Size from 320 to 1080 px on the long edge, 10 to 24 frames per second, optional burned-in subtitles. Keep it short: a 10-second GIF at 640 px is usually a few MB.
Audio
WAV (lossless), M4A (small, high quality) or MP3 (plays everywhere; Mac app). Choose the Full mix, Separate stems (voice, music, sound effects), or both. Stems come without ducking, so you can rebalance them in your own editor.
Subtitles
SRT (works almost everywhere), VTT (web players, YouTube, learning platforms) or a plain-text Transcript for docs and translation.
Images
Download poster (when the project has one), or Scene stills: one image from the middle of each scene, zipped, as PNG or JPG.
Slides & PDF
PowerPoint (opens in PowerPoint, Keynote and Google Slides) or PDF. Pages are One per scene; in the browser you can also Pick frames myself in a frame picker.
Range
Most destinations export the Whole film or A part: pick where it starts and ends, scene by scene. The footer shows how many files you'll get, the length and roughly how big they'll be.
In the Mac app
Choose where files go with Save to and Change… (by default ~/Movies/AnimSpark/Exports) and press Export. The dialog closes and a tray at the bottom right shows each export's progress: Preparing, Mixing sound, Rendering, Encoding, Finishing. When it's done, the folder button (Show in Finder) finds the file; Cancel stops an export that's still running.
In the browser
Audio and subtitles download straight from the dialog. For video, GIFs and other picture exports, AnimSpark records the film in a new tab:
Press Record
The button says Record (or Record N videos). A recording tab opens.
Press Start export
In the recording tab, press Start export (or Export N items).
Share "This Tab"
Chrome asks once to share the tab. Pick This Tab, not a window or the whole screen. Nothing is uploaded; this only lets the page record itself.
Keep the tab in front
Leave the tab in the foreground until it finishes; switching tabs pauses the recording. Each file downloads as soon as it's ready. If Chrome asks whether the site may download multiple files, choose Allow.
If your Mac blocks screen capture, allow your browser in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording, then quit the browser completely (⌘Q) and reopen it.
